My experience with Matt, from my first conversation with him on the phone, calling with no history of being a customer, stranded on the side of the road in the mountains as he spent all the time necessary to help me figure out what was going on with my Jeep...to working with him and his team once I got my Jeep in his shop, has been nothing short of AMAZING!!!! I will never go to another place. A customer for life! Thank you Matt!!

Have an older Jeep. One place specializing in Jeeps would not take my car because they didn’t think they could get all the parts. Another Jeep specialist said I would have to wait 3 weeks! So when GarageWorks told me about a 1 week wait, I took it. Had my vehicle towed over due to a big issue with brakes. I really needed the car no later than Friday and they made that deadline for me. Very grateful. Did a great job and I’m pleased enough and know my car well enough over 28 years, that the other issues they noted are spot on. So I will continue to work with them and plug away at each problem, as I can afford. They also have a loner car so next time my appointment will be made around the availability of that car. So now I have my permanent car repair place!

GarageWorks quoted nearly $5,000 for my Jeep’s repairs, with approximately $1,800 in parts. Using those rounded figures, parts represented 36% of the estimate, while the remaining $3,200—64%—covered labor and other charges. Another reputable shop completed all the recommended work, plus additional work, for approximately $3,000. Based on that substantial difference, I found GarageWorks’ pricing excessive. Matt communicated extensively and explained the diagnosis, which I appreciated. However, when I repeatedly asked for the specific labor calculations and overlap adjustments, the responses focused largely on the shop’s premium workmanship and pricing philosophy. Although he provided the billing rates and explained that overlapping operations had been considered, I still did not receive the specific breakdown of those adjustments I requested. When I asked whether they offered a military or veteran discount, Matt stated: “This is not to say I don’t do things for people whom have my respect, but it is usually in a more personal manner than a dollar discount.” I found that remark condescending and unprofessional. I asked about a discount policy; his personal respect for customers was irrelevant to that question. Matt declined to negotiate the estimate upfront, although he said the final cost could decrease if less labor was required. The pricing, combined with how my concerns were handled, cost GarageWorks my repair business and the opportunity to earn a returning customer and referrals. Update regarding the owner’s response: I did not assume that the difference between the parts and total estimate was “simply labor.” GarageWorks’ own estimate specifically listed $2,923.92 in labor. My comparison is based on the work actually completed by the second reputable shop. That shop performed the repairs GarageWorks recommended, plus additional work, for approximately $3,000. I also did not separate the discount comment from its context. I asked whether GarageWorks offered a military or veteran discount, and Matt responded that they did not offer blanket discounts before stating that he does things for “people whom have my respect,” usually in a more personal manner than a dollar discount. I quoted the relevant statement accurately. Regardless of his intention, I found bringing personal respect into a straightforward question about a military-discount policy inappropriate. My review does not claim GarageWorks should be the least expensive shop. It explains why I declined a nearly $5,000 estimate and how my reasonable questions about its pricing were handled.

Had them look over my jeep as it's been parked mostly for a few years. They provided an excellent inspection form, and made accepting/denying service super easy. Will use them again in the future.

Found them on a Reddit thread from a ton of people who swear by them. Have had two experiences with them. Nothing but professional, straightforward, and helpful. I 100% believe they try to just get your problem solved without overcharging. Finally found a mechanic I can trust it’s a good feeling. Superb work on jeeps specifically 👌

Garageworks has been my go-to shop for my Tundra for the past 4 years. They’ve always been honest, professional, and easy to work with. I’ve had a number of things done there over the years, and I’ve always been happy with the quality of their work and service. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy shop.

Just WOW! The team at GarageWorks is just amazing. I had a broken bolt on an exhaust manifold on my 2011 JKU, which of course in the worst location driver side near firewall. Thankfully the way it was broken, Nick could work his magic and get it extracted and got me all put back together. Since I just moved back to CO and not having a clue on a shop that is trustworthy. After swinging by and allowing them to get “eyes” on the issue Matt gave me an estimate and we set an appointment to get the repair done. Cost stated was the cost it was…they even gave my Jeep an inspection and found that a Brake flush was needed. Which I figured it was time for that. THANKS Again to the GarageWorks team.

​Huge shoutout to Matt and the team at Garageworks. I brought my 2021 Power Wagon in because I was dealing with some annoying tire rubbing when I switched to 37s. Matt walked me through a few different ways to tackle it and was completely upfront about the pricing for each. We ended up going with a Carli suspension install, and it completely fixed the issue. The best part of working with Garageworks is that they never tried to push unnecessary extra services on me. It’s hard to find an honest shop that knows these trucks inside and out. Highly recommend them if you need your rig dialed in and ready for the trails.

Took a 2016 Rubicon in for a pre1purchase inspection. Matt and the team were quick and thorough, getting me in in short notice, and walking me through everything they found with the Jeep. They also provided several options for moving forward. I ended up buying the vehicle, and there is no doubt where I’ll take it for service when I need it!

Came here as a recommendation from High Country Performance 4x4, and both places helped me beyond what I would've expected. I have a pretty bad taste for common mechanics, but the team here at GarageWorks was quick and efficient with solving a rather niche issue with my jeep wrangler jku. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're having car issues, especially with 4x4s!

I had a great experience in Garageworks! I really appreciated the honesty in communications. I trusted my Jeep in this store esp when seeing other jeeps there. It wasn’t cheap but I think they charged for a reasonable price for my car.

My 2020 Ram experienced the dreaded manifold crack on my Hemi. Not wanting to use OEM (to experience another crack in the future), I worked with Garage Works for an alternative solution. Ryan did an amazing job replacing my exhaust manifolds. This was my first time using Garage Works and will not be my last.

Long story short- my Jeep was hit while I was rescuing another vehicle, and during repairs I upgraded the axle. Unfortunately, problems started immediately. The dealership later told me the front differential needed to be rebuilt, but because it was an aftermarket Dana axle, they wouldn’t touch it. The original shop that installed it said everything was fine and found no 4WD issues. Knowing that wasn’t right, I called Garage Works. Matt took one look and suspected a manufacturer defect. He opened the axle and confirmed it- Dana had sent the wrong axle shaft, which prevented the 4-wheel drive from engaging. Matt didn’t stop there. He documented everything with photos and led a 3–4 week process to prove the issue and get it resolved. This was ultimately fixed because of Matt’s expertise, persistence, and willingness to advocate for his customer. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am. If you want someone knowledgeable, honest, and relentless in doing the job right, Garage Works is it.

GarageWorks is awesome. They checked out my rig for a preseason inspection and was able To give me a few things that could be addressed but are not of immediate concern. Really appreciate them taking a look and being honest at what needs to be addressed. If you are looking for a shop I highly recommend GarageWorks, they really have an amazing team working there.

Great place to bring your jeep for service. It was super easy to schedule service. I would definitely come back. Most importantly they got job done from first time.

Fantastic experience! Took a Promaster van there for a Pre-Purchase inspection. It has the Pentastar engine and these guys know that engine well. They did a VERY detailed assessment of the entire vehicle. Very impressed with the service I was given. Highly recommend GarageWorks for anything Pentastar related and Jeep related.

Fantastic group of people. Was able to schedule right away and get my 4runner looked at immediately. Very knowledgable about the offroad modifications and service. Definitely recommend them.
